Developer Mojiken and publisher Toge Productions have announced that A Space for the Unbound is coming January 19, 2023 to PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC. An experiment about life and trauma, the title is a pixel-art style adventure and is primarily story-based.
The release date is revealed after a long imbroglio with Mojiken’s western partner, PQube. In August, the studio accused the rep of using donations to leverage its own commercial gain, only to hear from the other side that it was proposing “unilateral” and “irrational” publishing deals.
This conflict spanned nearly two years, as A Space for the Unbound was scheduled to come out between December 2020 and March 2021. Now, finally, fans can reserve a date for the game in their diaries.
