After the excellent work on the Divinity: Original Sin series, Larian Studios is working on Baldur’s Gate 3, a game that has been in Early Access for quite some time now. So far the studio has only revealed that the final version will be released in 2023, but it seems that the game may get an official date soon.
In a recent post on Steam, Larian Studios has reconfirmed that Baldur’s Gate 3 is still planned for release in 2023, but announced that we will have news in December about the game’s final release, which means we may finally have a date.
In addition, the studio claims that the final version will bring a lot of new content not available in Early Access, making it a very different kind of gameplay even for those who have already explored everything that Early Access had to offer.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is a new RPG from the makers of Divinity: Original Sin 2 set in the world of Dungeons and Dragons. Choose from a variety of D&D races and classes or take on the role of an original character with a detailed backstory.
Adventure, pillage, battle, and engage in romance along your journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play solo and choose your companions carefully, or play in a group with up to four friends in multiplayer.
Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for PC in Early Access, with the final version coming sometime in 2023.
