Call of Duty Warzone Mobile has been officially revealed. The battle royale game in Activision’s series will receive a mobile version and more details will be released soon.
The information was shared officially by Chris Plummer, vice president of Call of Duty Mobile, on GameSpot Swipe, a program focused on mobile content of the North American portal.
According to the executive, what was previously known as “Project Aurora” is already in closed alpha phase, with select players getting access to the game that will be made available separately, not as part of Call of Duty Mobile. Call of Duty Mobile’s battle royale mode will continue to be available.
No further details about the game have been revealed, but Plummer said that more information will be revealed at Call of Duty Next, an event on September 15 to showcase new features from across the Call of Duty franchise.
