Despite the leak, GTA 6 may not arrive until 2025 [rumor]

A new rumor shared this past weekend suggests that GTA 6 may not hit video games until 2025. With that, even with the recent leaks, Rockstar Games should take a good few years to complete its next project.

The information was leaked by Adrien Perea’s profile, the insider who revealed in advance the postponements of Hogwarts Legacy and Forspoken to 2023. He did not provide any further information, but suggested a wait time of nearly 12 years between GTA V and the next title in the franchise – the longest ever seen between sequels to Rockstar games.

So far, there are no concrete details about GTA 6’s release date. Recently, Rockstar Mag journalist Chris Klippel commented on a window similar to the one suggested by Perea and speculated a 2024 release. However, all information should be treated as rumors.
