Disney wants to release a Star Wars game every 6 months [rumor]

Several Star Wars franchise games are on the way, and according to journalist Tom Henderson, Disney intends to release a game in the series every six months. In this way, the company would mix a AAA and a lesser title every year.

So far, eight games are in production. They are:

Skydance Media’s Game;
FPS from Respawn Entertainment;
Open-world game from Ubisoft Massive;
Star Wars: Eclipse by Quantic Dream;
Knights of the Old Republic Remake by Saber Interactive;
Jedi: Survivor, from Respawn Entertainment;
Star Wars: Hunters, by Zynga;
A strategy title from Respawn Entertainment;

Ubisoft’s game, as stated by Henderson earlier, is not expected to make its debut until 2025. The insider also reported that Quantic Dream’s project would be due in 2027. Now, the same journalist brings the speculation of this six-month spacing between releases.

Although Henderson is a credible source when revealing behind-the-scenes information, it is good to be careful. He is not an official Disney source, so this article is considered a rumor.
