God of War Ragnarök has received incredible acclaim since its release, with an incredible reception across the board.
Now, the game has won its first Game of the Year award, kicking off what should be a huge number. Check it out below:
The honor came at the Titanium Awards and also opened the awards count on Game Awards Tracker, the site responsible for tallying the awards from around the planet.
Expectations for the game are very high. The game had a great critical acclaim and promises to be very rewarding during the awards season.
The title also became the favorite at The Game Awards, receiving more nominations than its opponents, totaling 10, and thus maintaining the high quality level of the previous awards.
Some award ceremonies are coming up. The Golden Joystick takes place this week and The Game Awards on December 8. Overplay’s Best of the Year will be revealed on December 1st.
