In the photo, Daemon comforts his daughters after the death of Laena Velaryon, wife of the prince and mother of the girls. In the version that aired on HBO, the character just remains silent, unable to even talk to the girls after the tragedy.

The artwork was posted on the channel’s social networks and, of course, generated much discussion about the reason for the cut, with many fans even commenting that the inclusion of the scene could benefit the character.

Dragon’s House airs chapters on Sundays, with simultaneous broadcast on HBO and HBO Max.
