The community has had a chance to test the beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 over the past few days, but some people are quite unhappy with Deadly Silence, an advantage that is supposed to leave you hidden – but apparently gives away your position to other players.
According to several reports in forums and on social media, the cause of the frustration seems to be the activation of the mechanic, which is already enough for the enemy to locate the position of whoever is using it. Check it out:
Not only did they add an animation while activating Dead Silence, but there’s a loud sound cue on the enemies end too.. pic.twitter.com/XWG11zkSmc

les not only added an animation when activating Deadly Silence, but there is also a loud sound that reveals enemies.
Deadly Silence, from both other games in the franchise and Modern Warfare 2, removes the sound of footsteps so that players can easily traverse the map without being overheard.
With a combined strategic class of weapons and other advantages, it is possible to wreak havoc on the opposing team. Will Infinity Ward be able to fix the problem before the release? We can only wait.
Remember that Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 will be released on October 28 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC. Warzone 2.0 will arrive on November 16 for the same platforms.
Modern Warfare 2 beta already has cheaters, but Infinity Ward takes action
