According to the latest charts, Battlefiled 1 was played by 53,714 people at the same time today, November 7. The title’s last peak activity was approximately 43,300 simultaneous gamers, recorded in June 2021.

According to PC Gamer, promotions were a big reason for this curious revival. It was possible to purchase the game for only $4.79/£4.19/€4.79 – it currently costs $199 on Steam.

Another interesting point is that the North American and European markets are not responsible for this new peak. The big numbers are coming in between 8pm and 10pm in the East Asian time zones.

Battlefield 1 was developed by DICE and is distributed by Electronic Arts (EA). It was released in 2016 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4, but arrived on Steam only in 2020.
