Are you excited for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse? Well, Empire magazine has released a new photo from the animation, showing that things are about to get even creepier for Miles Morales! Check it out above.
In addition to the artwork, producer Phil Lord gave details about the new film, anticipating that the project will be even more ambitious than Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse (2018). Lord explains:
“In the first film, we had one style of animation that dominated the plot. Now we have six! We have expanded all these tools to accommodate the grand scale of this film. The purpose is to impress you every time we enter a new environment. And to make sure that the animation style reflects the story. Every frame comes from the feelings of the plot.”
Through the Spideyverse will have Miles (Shameik Moore) once again on an adventure through different universes, bumping into the most various variables of Spider-Men along the way. Confirmed are the returns of Spider-Gwen (voiced by Hailee Steinfeld) and Oscar Isaac’s Spider-Man 2099.
The film hits US theaters on June 2, 2023, with a sequel already confirmed. Spider-Man in the Spider-Verse is streaming on Disney+.
