
The wait is finally over: to celebrate TLOU Day, HBO revealed on Monday (26) the first trailer for The Last of Us series. Not only that, but the entertainment giant also reiterated that the show starring Pedro Pascal (Joel) and Bella Ramsey (Ellie) will premiere in 2023.
The video is filled with drama, just like the 2013 game, and shows new scenes of Ellie and Joel in action, as well as Tess, Marlene, Tommy, and Bill. Of course, there’s also screen time left over for the first official look at the shipyard. Check it out:
The release of the series trailer for The Last of Us is just one of the new features HBO is preparing for its 50th anniversary. In the 50 days leading up to the anniversary date (November 8), the company will share “trailers, cast and behind-the-scenes photos, never-before-seen footage, script excerpts and more” from the upcoming HBO Originals.
