The next season of Fortnite will officially be called “Paradise” and will be chrome

The fourth season of Fortnite’s (not at all confusing) third chapter is titled “Paradise” and appears to be focused on some sort of chrome material infecting the island, aligning with previous leaks that put it front and center as one of the main new features.

In recent days, several strange videos that appear to be related to the upcoming season of Fortnite have begun to appear on TikTok, which were initially believed to have leaked, but now appear to be one of Epic’s usual real-world teasers. The clips show several different people reacting when a chromium substance infects their surroundings and begins to spread around the world.

Along with the videos, Epic also updated the official Fortnite website to reveal the season’s name as Paradise and reveal the logo, as well as tweeting the TikTok videos on the official Fortnite Twitter account. The site shows the season logo surrounded by the same chrome material in the teasers, while ethereal music plays in the background.

To really push the Chrome theme forward, every video shared on the Fortnite Twitter account is also accompanied by phrases such as “Chrome will consume everything, Chrome will be everything” and “Heaven. It consumes everything.”

This aligns with previous leaks of the season, such as the new key art that appeared in the Nintendo eShop, showing what appears to be The Paradigm drowning in the same chrome material we see in the TikTok teasers. Considering that the chrome is clearly infecting everything and scaring anyone who comes into contact with it in the videos, it’s clear that “Paradise” isn’t exactly a positive term and is probably seen that way by who or what is spreading the paint all over the map .

Aside from these teasers, we don’t know much else about the upcoming Fortnite season, except more rumors that suggest players will be able to swim in the chrome, just as players could dive in the sand in previous seasons.
