The N7 Celebration is over, but your Sims don’t need to know it. The Sims 4 is getting some themed goodies as part of BioWare’s annual Mass Effect commemoration.
A post on the BioWare blog (opens in a new tab) announcing the collaboration, reads “A bunch of folks at BioWare and Maxis who share a love for Mass Effect and The Sims 4, got together to make them…. ..what fans want for both franchises.” These items will be included in the base game for free in the November 17 update.
It’s mostly wearable little things, and of course has a lot of N7 themes: it’s plastered over a black beanie, a black baseball cap, and a black T-shirt. There’s even an N7 tattoo if you really want your Sims to show their love and dedication to the sci-fi RPG series. If you’re all N7, there’s also an Andromeda Initiative logo t-shirt from the title game. I’ll express my disappointment here at the severe lack of Garrus items. Not even the Garrus Body Pillow(Opens in a new tab), BioWare?
It’s great to see some of the more wearable crossovers from The Sims 4, considering how many of them feel dressed up – check out Star Wars and Final Fantasy 15. Overall, it was a quiet N7 day, despite a delicious little audio surprise in the trailer. With the help of some track repetitions and inversions, a fan managed to decipher a secret N7-Day message from the damned-sounding Liara T’Soni.
