You can get excited, because the fourth season of True Detective is really getting off the ground! Three years after the most recent season, True Detective: Night Country officially began recording this week, and there’s even a behind-the-scenes photo.
Mysterious, the image doesn’t give anything away about the story, but it does confirm Issa López as the director of the new year.
The new year will star Jodie Foster. The star of Silence of the Lambs (1991) will play a detective in charge of solving the disappearance of a team of researchers in Alaska.
The series follows the anthology format, with a different story and cast each season. The cast has included Matthew McConaughey, Woody Harrelson, Mahershala Ali, and Colin Farrell.
