Naughty Dog and Sony have rolled out the 1.002 update to Uncharted: Legacy of Thieves Collection for PS5, which quietly adds support for VRR.
As with most PS5 game updates, patch notes are not shared on Sony’s next-gen console, but as noted by Naughty Dog Central on Twitter, the new patch apparently adds support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR) on PlayStation 5.
After downloading and installing patch 1.002, players on compatible screens will be able to enable or disable “Unlocked Framerate” in Uncharted 4 and Uncharted: The Lost Legacy. Below, you will find screenshots of the settings menu before and after installing the new patch.
While this new feature may not be of interest to all players, we are sure that players with VRR-compatible screens will be delighted with this new option.
